I saw a photo of a floral shutter pleated dress recently, and thought, “let me do that with scrapbooking paper!” I used Allison Kreft’s designs from Webster’s Pages.

The Simon Wednesday theme is “wedding or anniversary” this week. And the tin ceiling designer paper was just perfect. I really like the white and the off white together.
Funny, I had forgotten how much I LOVE gold embossing.

This is my effort for the latest Fusion Card Challenge (#4). I used both the sketch and the photo as inspiration for this challenge.
I stamped, embossed and colored butterflies on a white panel. Backed it with designer paper from Alison Kraft/Webster’s Pages. Difficult to see, but I embossed an edge detail on the bottom of the Pool Party layer (click photo to enlarge).

Here is my take on the latest Deconstructed Sketch Challenge (DS134). I have to admit – I LOVE THE WAY THIS TURNED OUT. 😉 You know I am my own worst critic, right? Sometimes a design for a challenge starts out good, but then I butt my head into the wall of the box I am trying to fit into, and I don’t love the final product (I can’t LOVE every card I make, right?). This one, though, just fell into place. I’m thinking that the colors in the Alison Kraft/Webster’s Pages paper just made me happy.

Offspring3 gave me this stamp set (Hero Arts Just Saying Hi) for Christmas. The patterned paper (Allison Kraft Designs by Webster’s Pages) was on sale at Ellen Hutson last week. This medallion design reminds me of the linoleum in my maternal grandparents’ upstairs hallway.
