Silver and Black Graduation Card

I am still working on card inventory for HorseSpirit Arts Gallery .

Fall is not the typical time you see graduation cards in stores, is it?

BUT…2/3 of my offspring graduated in the month of December (1/3 in May).

And, gosh, there are so many ongoing certificate programs, technical programs, medical treatment programs, et cetera, you many need a graduation card any month of the year!

Supplies:  Stamp – Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Stardream Metallics Silver, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, die – Spellbinders, embossing folder – Provo Craft, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Pink Survivor Card

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought I would make a card to send to one of the survivors I know.

I made a collage on my MISTI, and stamped it 3 times to get the perfect ink coverage. (And that is why my Pixie Pink ink looks more like Pink Passion ink!)

Supplies: Stamps – Essentials by Ellen, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Pink Passion (retired), inks – Stampin’ Up! Pixie Pink (retired), VersaFine Onyx Black, die – Spellbinders, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear, organdy ribbon – Offray.

Night Cacti Reasons to Be Happy Card

This paper is from the DCVW pad from yesterday. I love the blues and teals, I think it looks like a night time desert scene (knowing that the cacti would not actually be in pots in the desert!).

Disclaimer: I have never been to the desert at night, my visual imagination may be WRONG.

Supplies: Stamp – Simon Says Stamp, paper – DCWV No Prob LLama, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Pool Party, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Spellbinders, embossing powder – Ranger Silver Pearl.

Cozy Up Owls Note Cards

These cute little owls (and sentiments) are from a tiny Technique Tuesday set called Cozy Up Owl. I sat them on an old Papertrey ink branch (actually, I stamped the individual owls first, masked their little feet, and then stamped the branch).

Bermuda Bay, Green Galore (retired), Soft Sky (retired), Tempting Turquoise (retired), inks – Copics – B02, BG15, E15, E19, E23, E33, E51, E53, E57, R29, Y17, YG06, YR09, Stampin’ Up! You Are Mermazing Card

I used this cutie on a birthday card I needed to send, and made a second card with a fun sentiment.

I stamped the rock first, then masked it off to blend the sky and water. The mermaid was colored with Copics and die cut, but then I fussy cut it with detail scissors right against the embossing. I colored the raw edge with a black marker. I used an embossing folder on the water part of the card.

Supplies:  Stamps – My Favorite Things, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Bay, Strathmore Bristol, inks – Copic B02, BG15, BV00, C3, E11, E21, E23, E51, V04, 100, Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Inks Blueprint Sketch, Tumbled Glass, VersaFine Onyx Black, Smokey Gray, dies – Lawn Fawn, embossing folder – Darice, sequins – Simon Says Stamp, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Floral Anniversary Card

I had this image to color, but I didn’t have the Copic colors to match the vision in my head. Luckily, I could make it work with colored pencils.

This card is a little different than most of my “circle main image” cards. This one, I cut the circle hole into the layer of purple, so the image is behind the purple instead of resting on top. The silver frame is on top of the purple.

Supplies: Stamps – Altenew, Paper Salon, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stardream Metallics Silver, Taylored Expressions Jelly Donut, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, pencils & blender – Prismacolor, dies – Spellbinders, embossing powders – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, Ranger Silver Pearl.
