Let Your Dreams Take Flight Butterfly Card

When I got the paisley stamp out for yesterday’s card, I also grabbed the large swallowtail stamp.

The lime paper is sparkly metallic – which I could not capture with the camera.  (BOO!)

Supplies: Stamps – Reverse Confetti, Stampin’ Up!, paper – Curious Metallics Lime, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy, ink – VersaFine Clair Twilight, die – Lawn Fawn, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Looking For You Card

As I was making this (admittedly, SUBDUED) card, I thought of all of the bright color combinations that would be fabulous for it. Luckily, this stamp set has lots of sentiments, so you may see another version of this in the near future.

Each frame is double layered (navy over black, pattern over royal). The hearts in the background were blended through a stencil.

Supplies:  Stamp – My Favorite Things, paper – KaiserCraft Havana Nights, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy, Smoky Slate, inks – Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Ink Hickory Smoke, VersaFine Clair Twilight, dies – My Favorite Things, stencil – Simon Says Stamp, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

Baby Deer Holiday Tag

I have not been very crafty in the last week. I made this quickly on Sunday morning to have something to put into a blog post.

Did you catch any exceptional Black Friday sales? I did some online shopping, and was satisfied to get the discounts I got. (I wonder if Cyber Monday discounts will be larger???)

Pool Party, inks – Copic E21, E33, E53, VersaFine Clair Twilight, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Lawn Fawn (deer, stitched hillsides), Reverse Confetti (tag), embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, navy grosgrain ribbon – Stampin’ Up! (retired).
