Paper and Ink Imaginings

just playing with paper and ink

Business thank you

interior touches duo

My good friend has a business called Interior Touches. She makes custom window treatments, all sorts of custom sewing projects for a home. Her work is beautiful!

Several years ago we created this thank you note for her business. She sends them to her customers to thank them for their business or for referring a new customer.

Do you get thank you notes/letters from the companies that you do business with? I do remember getting a thank you letter from the roofing company last fall. And I know my appliance repair company sends me a new coupon after every visit as a thank you.

My blog isn’t really a business, but THANK YOU for looking at my blog! I appreciate the clicks!

F-16C Thank You

f16 thanks

Another weather delay morning here in paradise. I was able to get my entire workout done before anyone got up for school or work.

The card for today – a thank you note with an F-16C Flying Falcon.  (No, I don’t know my jets by heart, I read the label on the side of the stamp!)

I am “THAT” Mom who requires offspring to send thank you notes. I tried to make it fun through the years, making the cards to their design specifications. I doubt any of the offspring would say it was fun to write the notes, but they can say that they had stationary that they liked.

Supplies: Stamps – ImaginAir Designs, Stampin’ Up, paper – Stampin’ Up! Soft Sky (retired), ink – Stampin’ Up! Basic Gray, Not Quite Navy.

Bookmark Thank You Note

winx bookmark card

Today I am trying to design for a friend’s daughter.  The parameters were purple and Winx. I have to admit, I did not know about Winx (cartoon fairies, they look a bit like Bratz to me). I found printable bookmarks online, and used purple on the card front.

Supplies: Stamp – Papertrey Ink, paper – Georgia Pacific (white for printing bookmark), Papertrey Ink White, Stampin’ Up! Lavender Lace (retired), ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, ribbon – lavender with iridescent edge (source unknown).
