Blue Striped Birthday Card

This is another piece of Amy Tangerine paper – from her Finders Keepers collection. I thought it would make a great background for a masculine birthday card I need in the near future.

Supplies: Stamp – Reverse Confetti, paper – American Crafts Amy Tangerine Finders Keepers, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy, ink – VersaMark, die – Lawn Fawn, embossing powder – Stampin’ Up! Sterling Silver, twine – MarkerPOP.

Floral Encouragement Card – Essentials by Ellen May 2017 Mix It Up Challenge

Here is a challenge card today! I had the supplies necessary to participate in the Essentials by Ellen May 2017 Mix It Up Challenge with Reverse Confetti.

I created a masked background (you know how much I love those!), and added a sentiment on the tag.

The beautiful blue ribbon was a thank you gift with an Ellen Hutson order.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies: Stamps – Essentials by Ellen, Reverse Confetti, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Cameo Coral (retired), inks – Stampin’ Up! Cameo Coral (retired), Certainly Celery (retired), Cool Caribbean (retired), VersaFine Onyx Black, die – Reverse Confetti, sequins – Doodlebug Design, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, ribbon – Ellen Hutson.

Paint Chip Gift Tags

Oh, come on, you had to see this one coming from a mile away!

I used paint chips, sample paper, and dies.

I order envelopes and paper from a company called Paper-Papers. With every order, you get a random sample pack of scraps. I LOVE THIS! Would I really order a pack of 25 sheets of all of the colors? No. But the scraps are great for accents and projects like this. Paper-Papers even puts a label listing the contents on the sample pack, so you know what you are using.

Butterfly Encouragement Card

Yes, the photo is intentionally a little wonky – so the embossing on the black cardstock is more visible.

And I’m still not sure about choosing BLACK for the embossed butterfly…maybe I should have put purple there. I had monarch butterflies on the brain – thinking orange & black. Too late now, this went to HorseSpirit Arts Gallery last week.

Supplies: Stamp – Reverse Confetti, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, butterflies – source unknown, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, die – My Favorite Things, embossing folder – Darice, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, organdy ribbon – Offray.
