Bavarian Pretzel Time to Celebrate Card

Offspring3 gave me this pretzel die for my birthday, I finally pulled it out to use it (Sorry! She knows I love it!).

I started with mustard colored card stock, and blended 3 colors of Distress Ink on that. I was pleased with the result. I used a Signo Gel Pen to make the white salt crystals.

You know I LOVE pretzels…

More Mustard (retired), inks – Signo Gel Pen, Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Inks Antique Linen, Fossilized Amber, Salty Ocean, Vintage Photo, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Lawn Fawn (stitched rectangles), Simon Says Stamp (pretzel), embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, twine – Martha Stewart

Polar Bear Nose BOOP v2.0 Card

Here is another sample card for my parents.

I die cut the snowflakes out of the red background, so the card base shows through.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. We are not hosting, but traveling to be with the in-laws. Have a happy & safe holiday!

I’ll be back with a card on Monday.

Supplies: Stamps – Penny Black, Stampin’ Up!, paper – Malmero Perle green, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Awesome Sky Note Card

Last week was really busy, I am still recovering!  😉

I pulled this blended ink sky out of my scrap pile and made an encouragement note card.

The dark blue metallic paper (mat layer) is new, I found it on sale. GORGEOUS, can’t get it to show in a photo.

Supplies:  Stamp – Stampin’ Up!, paper – Curious Metallics Blueprint, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, inks – Tim Holtz/Ranger Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean, VersaFine Onyx Black, die – My Favorite Things, watercolor (for star splatters) – Kuretake Gansai Tambi, embossing powder – Ranger Silver Pearl.

Night Sky Woodland Animals Birthday Card

Offspring2 celebrated a birthday recently. He is the photographer, two of his favorite subjects are night skies and critters.

I blended the sky onto Strathmore Bristol paper (blends so easily on this smooth surface!), and when it was dry, I flicked Kuretake white pearl paint onto it. I did struggle with how to ground the scene – I finally decided on a strip of green paper covered with die cut leaves.

Supplies: Stamps – Lawn Fawn, Reverse Confetti, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Always Artichoke (retired), Bravo Burgundy (retired), Brushed Silver, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, More Mustard (retired), Pumpkin Pie, Shimmery White (retired), Strathmore Bristol, inks – Copic E15, E19, E21, E33, 100, Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Inks Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean, VersaFine Onyx Black, Vintage Sepia, dies – Lawn Fawn (animals), My Favorite Things (leaves, pierced rectangle), Spellbinders (circle), watercolor – Kuretake Gansai Tambi, embossing powder – Spellbinders Detail clear.
