Floral with Buttons Encouragement Card

This card is related to a previously mentioned conversation with Cousin Pati. The two larger buttons were purchased as crafting accessories. The smallest button came from a blouse I owned back in my Software Engineer/Mathematician days.

The stems were all cut with the same die, and I embossed them with an embossing folder. Then, I trimmed them by hand to make them unique.

This cannot be sent through the mail in a regular envelope.

Supplies:  Stamp – Simon Says Stamp, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, PopTone Razzle Berry, Stampin’ Up! Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Pink Pirouette (retired), Soft Sky (retired), Wild Wasabi (retired), ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Papertrey Ink (stems), Provo Craft (flowers), buttons – Stampin’ Up!, dark pink – source unknown, embossing folder – Provo Craft, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Birthday Dog Card

I used one of the blended cloud pieces from last week, and added a dry embossed sentiment.

Floral and Gingham Anniversary Card

YES, I got motivated after dinner Wednesday night.

I decided to save myself some time by using colored cardstock for the flowers and leaves instead of coloring the images.

Sadly, I am almost out of Orchid Opulence and YoYo Yellow scraps.

Orchid Opulence (retired), YoYo Yellow (retired, textured version), inks – Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Ink Blueprint Sketch, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Avery Elle (flowers, leaves), Spellbinders (circles), embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Colorful Buttons Note Card

Last time Cousin Pati stopped by, we were talking about buttons. We both have extra buttons lying around.

I don’t often use buttons on cards – it makes a card expensive to mail.

I did pull out an old Sizzix/Stampin’ Up! Embosslits die – Sweet Buttons, to create paper buttons.

Supplies:  Paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, PopTone Razzle Berry, Sour Apple, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, dies – Reverse Confetti (quilted tag), Stampin’ Up! (buttons), corner rounder – We R Memory Keepers.

Bright Pink and Yellow Birthday Note Card

This flower stamp is from a 2007 Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Polka Dots and Paisley. It sits out near my workspace almost all of the time because it has a polka dot stamp that I use to stamp 80% of my envelope flaps (in a coordinating color).

For whatever reason, the little flower caught my eye. I stamped it using Taylored Expressions ink cubes – which worked brilliantly, and were much cleaner than trying to ink the stamp with a full size ink pad.

Supplies:  Stamps – Papertrey Ink, Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, PopTone Razzle Berry, Taylored Expressions Lemon Meringue, inks – My Favorite Things Razzle Berry, Taylored Expressions Lemon Meringue, Lime Zest, Lollipop, dies – Spellbinders, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.
