Bright Pink and Yellow Birthday Note Card

This flower stamp is from a 2007 Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Polka Dots and Paisley. It sits out near my workspace almost all of the time because it has a polka dot stamp that I use to stamp 80% of my envelope flaps (in a coordinating color).

For whatever reason, the little flower caught my eye. I stamped it using Taylored Expressions ink cubes – which worked brilliantly, and were much cleaner than trying to ink the stamp with a full size ink pad.

Supplies:  Stamps – Papertrey Ink, Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, PopTone Razzle Berry, Taylored Expressions Lemon Meringue, inks – My Favorite Things Razzle Berry, Taylored Expressions Lemon Meringue, Lime Zest, Lollipop, dies – Spellbinders, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Looking For You Card

As I was making this (admittedly, SUBDUED) card, I thought of all of the bright color combinations that would be fabulous for it. Luckily, this stamp set has lots of sentiments, so you may see another version of this in the near future.

Each frame is double layered (navy over black, pattern over royal). The hearts in the background were blended through a stencil.

Supplies:  Stamp – My Favorite Things, paper – KaiserCraft Havana Nights, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy, Smoky Slate, inks – Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Ink Hickory Smoke, VersaFine Clair Twilight, dies – My Favorite Things, stencil – Simon Says Stamp, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

Paint Chip and Butterfly Hello Card

I had the extra butterfly left from yesterday’s card, and I couldn’t just let it sit on the craft table!

This is a 4.25 inch square, and it fits into a regular A2 (4.25 x 5.5 inch) envelope.

Supplies:  Stamp – My Favorite Things, paper – Curious Metallic Blueprint, Home Depot paint chip, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Kaleidoscope DSP (retired),  ink – VersaMark, die – Hero Arts, embossing powder – Stampin’ Up! Sterling Silver.
