I had a brain hiccup while prepping supplies for yesterday’s Eagle Scout card…I cut this blue star paper for an A2 card, not an A6 card. OOPS. #neverthrowoutusablescraps
I used it for a birthday card.
Supplies: Stamp – Papertrey Ink, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Paper Pizazz – Blue stars, Stampin’ Up! Real Red, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Spellbinders, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, twine – MarkerPOP.
Of course I had to go in this direction for Offspring2’s card! The background paper with cameras was my starting point, and I had a new dog stamp (thanks, Offspring3!) that fit perfectly in the photo frame.
Supplies: Stamps – Avery Elle, Stampin’ Up!, paper – American Crafts Amy Tangerine Better Together, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Real Red, inks – Copic BG0000, C3, C5, N4, R11, R29, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Simon Says Stamp (banner), Taylored Expressions (photo frame), embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, twine – MarkerPOP.
Offspring3 found this stamp for my birthday…with one of the neighbor’s kids in mind. The oldest neighbor kiddo is 5, and she is a chatterbox. She has been a viking the past 2 Halloweens, and she even gets her Daddy to dress up, too.
I made dots with my Copic markers for the ground – I was thinking rocky, dirty terrain, with a little ice/snow mixed in.
I read about a card drive on Facebook (and one of the stamp company blogs, maybe…I went looking, I can’t find the post). Jacob Thompson is 9, has a late stage cancer, is not expected to make it to Christmas. He wants Christmas cards, and he likes penguins.
This is another piece of Amy Tangerine paper – from her Finders Keepers collection. I thought it would make a great background for a masculine birthday card I need in the near future.
Supplies: Stamp – Reverse Confetti, paper – American Crafts Amy Tangerine Finders Keepers, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy, ink – VersaMark, die – Lawn Fawn, embossing powder – Stampin’ Up! Sterling Silver, twine – MarkerPOP.
I thought the map paper played well off the “world” in the sentiment.
Have a great weekend!
