You Are Furtastic Cat Card

I’ve been wanting to build a wreath of the small cat related items in Simon Says Stamp’s Playful Kittens stamp set for a while. (Not sure WHY I wanted to do this wreath – I have no pets (allergies), and I am more of a dog person!) Here it is!

Supplies: Stamps – Simon Says Stamp, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Going Gray (retired blast from the past!), Pacific Point, inks – Copic B05, C1, C3, R11, YR04, Gina K. Designs Blue Raspberry, Lawn Fawn Manatee, VersaFine Onyx Black, die – Lawn Fawn, corner punch – Stampin’ Up!, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Royal and Key Lime You Made My Day Card

I made several color options of the Rustic Botanicals background while the stamps were on my MISTI last week.

And I was gifted a few new inks on my birthday (thanks Offspring3 & Offspring1!!), this one is Gina K. Designs Key Lime. LOVE IT.

I am trying to decide which brands of ink pads I like – my Stampin’ Up! pads have seen better days (and I don’t like their coverage with clear stamps). I am loving the Gina K. and the Lawn Fawn pads. I also have a few Simon Says Stamp pads, I have to pull them out and do a sample sheet that matches the sample sheet I did for the most recent ones so I am comparing apples to apples.

I am delivering cards to HorseSpirit Arts Gallery at Historic Savage Mill today! The grand opening is Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00am. There will be a reception from 5:00 – 9:00pm that evening.

Supplies: Stamps – Essentials by Ellen, Stampin’ Up!, paper – Gmund Royal, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, inks – Gina K. Designs Key Lime, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Lawn Fawn (stitched rectangle), Spellbinders (circles), embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Birthday Hoodie Card

This is a 4.25 inch square card.

I found the sweatshirt in my scrap folder (already embossed), and added the sentiment. HELP! The VersaFine ink and Ranger super fine embossing powder (used on the new sentiment) were not Copic safe on this specific day!! Did I overheat (and burn off) my embossing powder by accident?? (It really doesn’t look like that happened!) The blue ink ran a bit with the Copic coloring. The effect helps it look like a sweatshirt that was laundered one too many times, so I stayed with it.

Supplies: Stamps – Gina K Designs, Papertrey Ink, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Real Red, inks – Copic C1, C3, C5, VersaFine Deep Lagoon, Onyx Black, die – Spellbinders, embossing folder – Provo Craft, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, Ranger Super Fine Detail clear.

Turn It Teal 2016 – Hoodie Thinking of You Card

turn-it-teal-2016-hoodie

Another card for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month (September).

For more information about Ovarian Cancer, please visit the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition website .

I stamped and embossed the hoodie first, then used my Stamp-a-ma-jig (stamp positioner) to get the ribbon in the correct spot. I had to mask the ends of the ribbon to fit it onto the hoodie, but it worked.

Supplies: Stamps – A Muse Artstamps, Gina K Designs, Papertrey Ink, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate, inks – Copic BG15, C1, C3, Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Ink Peacock Feathers, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Spellbinders, embossing folder – Stampin’ Up!, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

Ribbon Cards of Encouragement

kenny hearts and ribbons

Someone requested cards for a friend  fighting two primary cancers simultaneously.

OY. I cannot imagine the strength and courage that battle requires on a daily basis.

The white ribbon represents lung cancer, the burgundy ribbon represents oral cancer.
