Bear Pair Valentine’s Day Card

This is the bear stamp I used on my parents Christmas cards – those I left white as polar bears. Sometime over the holidays, I saw someone else had colored the bears brown for a card – adorable.

So, I embossed the bears onto watercolor paper and gently watercolored them. The snow is even sparkly white watercolor (you can almost see it in the photo).

And, YES, this is the card I am sending to my parents for Valentine’s Day.

Supplies:  Stamps – Hero Arts, Penny Black, paper – Canson watercolor, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Real Red, inks – Hero Arts Unicorn, VersaFine Onyx Black, ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Carmine Red (022), Light Gray (091), Wink of Stella clear, watercolors – Kuretake Gansai Tambi, Sakura Koi, embossing powders – Filigree Fine Art Powder white, Stampendous Detail clear, twine – MarkerPOP.

I Like You a Waffle Lot Cards

I had Technique Tuesday’s Waffle Lot stamp set out working on a Valentine card.

I used masking to stamp a waffle background.

I made an extra one, just to have around.

For this one, I pulled out an old Provo Craft embossing folder (Traffic Jam) to repeat the waffle dents on the background.

Supplies:  Stamps – Technique Tuesday, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Desert Storm, Stampin’ Up! Real Red, Tempting Turquoise (retired), inks – Copic E23, E53, Y13, Y18, Stampin’ Up! Coffee Cake, VersaFine Onyx Black, Vintage Sepia, dies – Lawn Fawn (stitched rectangle), Papertrey Ink (mat stack), Spellbinders (circle), embossing folder – Provo Craft, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Orchid and Pink Valentine’s Day Card

Last of the Valentines…I had to wait to be sure it was delivered.

The stamp is from Target’s $1 Aisle ($3 for 4 different “I love you” stamps) – thanks, Offspring3!

Only regret – I should have tried to form a heart with the white floss as I was gluing it down.

Another horrible mass shooting at a high school yesterday – just feeling hollow. Thoughts and prayers to the community involved.

Supplies: Stamp – Horizon Group, paper – American Crafts Amy Tangerine On A Whim, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Real Red, Taylored Expressions Strawberry Milkshake, ink – Hero Arts Unicorn, die – Simon Says Stamp, sequins – Crate Paper, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder white, floss – DMC.

Love You A Latte Valentine’s Day Card

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Here is a view of the inside:

The stamp actually says “I love you a latte”, I just didn’t ink the “I”.

Flamingo Valentine’s Day Card

OOPS! Guess who forgot to schedule a post for today!

This is for my goofy parents.

I think the flamingo on the right (Dad!) came out a little dark, but I was not willing to scrap the card over me not having the correct marker color.

For the hearts, I mixed a few drops of Real Red inker with embossing paste, and applied over a tiny heart stencil.

Supplies: Stamps – Inkadinkado, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Real Red, inks – Copic B0000, B00, BV01, E11, R11, R24, RV13, V04, Y26, YG23, Stampin’ Up! Real Red, VersaFine Onyx Black, stencil – Simon Says Stamp, embossing paste – Dreamweaver, sentiment sticker – Crate Paper (from the SSS February 2016 Card Kit), embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

Photography Themed Valentine’s Day Card

Of course I had to go in this direction for Offspring2’s card! The background paper with cameras was my starting point, and I had a new dog stamp (thanks, Offspring3!) that fit perfectly in the photo frame.

Supplies: Stamps – Avery Elle, Stampin’ Up!, paper – American Crafts Amy Tangerine Better Together, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Real Red, inks – Copic BG0000, C3, C5, N4, R11, R29, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Simon Says Stamp (banner), Taylored Expressions (photo frame), embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, twine – MarkerPOP.

Playful Kitten Valentine’s Day Card

This is for the youngest child of my next door neighbors. I don’t know her very well, she is the sister of the Halloween Viking. She is between 2 and 3, so I made a very friendly, safe card (no sequins, buttons or dot gems! no strings or ribbons!).
