As I was making this (admittedly, SUBDUED) card, I thought of all of the bright color combinations that would be fabulous for it. Luckily, this stamp set has lots of sentiments, so you may see another version of this in the near future.
Each frame is double layered (navy over black, pattern over royal). The hearts in the background were blended through a stencil.

Recently, Simon Says Stamp was giving away the Gina K. Designs mini wreath builder template and stamp set with ANY order. So, I went scouring for a mini stamp set and die (less than $10 total). I wound up with this Waffle Flower set (I already own multiple anchor stamps/dies, but no sentiments that coordinate with an anchor). Great! AND I dug up a $5 coupon, which helped with shipping.
I blended distress inks over a stencil onto Strathmore Bristol paper – so smooth for blending.

I bought this die on clearance. I layered it with some BEAUTIFUL Lime Curious Metallics paper – I could not capture the sparkle in the photograph.

I am not sure how I embossed the background (it was in my scrap folder) – I think I stamped in Deep Lagoon and then embossed with Silver Pearl powder.

I’ve been wanting to build a wreath of the small cat related items in Simon Says Stamp’s Playful Kittens stamp set for a while. (Not sure WHY I wanted to do this wreath – I have no pets (allergies), and I am more of a dog person!) Here it is!
