Easiest note cards in the world. Cut paper, done!
Offspring3 called “dibs!” before I even photographed them.
Supplies: Paper – Crate Paper Falala, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Recollections Gold Mirror.
I had a scrap of silver mirror paper, with snowflakes cut out…I needed to figure out how to use it. Turns out it was not square/even (I kept it, need to figure out if I have a shape die that will preserve most of it!), so I made a new scrap, and saved the center pieces of the snowflakes to glue onto the design. The mirror piece was mounted on Shine shimmering paper.
Before I got around to photographing the above card, I got serious with the other leftover snowflake scrap. I decided an oval die would preserve the most for me.
The snowflakes I added were cut from Shimmering White card stock.
I am linking this up to Simon Says Stamp’s Christmas Card Day post – the random winner will get a $100 gift card.

My Kuretake watercolors were on my table for another project last week, and I played around with watercoloring over my Neat and Tangled stencil, playing with an ombre look. I actually painted it light side at the top, but when I was putting this together, I thought the darkest blue needed to be at the top (sky), and the lightest at the bottom (snow).

As soon as I opened the FALALA paper pad (by Crate Paper), I knew I wanted to cut an ornament out of that vintage scene sheet. This came together exactly as I imagined.
Holiday panic has begun for me. I was so comfortable last week, “oh, we have an extra week between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year…” YIKES. Reality slammed into me Friday when I flipped my wall calendar to December. Holy Guacamole, how am I going to get all of this done??? I know I do this to myself every year.
Have a good day!

Yes, I have survived Thanksgiving hosting, and most of the leftovers are gone. I do feel like I have experienced a time warp, though.
Offspring3 brought this dog stamp home from a trip to Michael’s last week. Adorable. The dog on the left was stamped and heat embossed, the dog on the right was stamped (not embossed). The bow on both cards was colored using a Copic marker.
I came to the conclusion over the weekend that I am not designing one specific holiday card to send this year. I will probably put the same sentiment inside, but the cards are going to be random.
