Feminine Graduation Card

A daughter of a dear friend just graduated from college. School colors are deep green and gray. I had to make it a tiny bit feminine by ink blending a floral background (I am hoping it gives the impression of vintage lace – I may be reaching a bit far with that hope!).

Supplies:  Stamps – A Muse Artstamps, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Handsome Hunter (retired – WAY back!), Gold Mirror, inks – Lawn Fawn Manatee, VersaMark, dies – Taylored Expressions, stencil – Heidi Swapp, embossing powder – Stampin’ Up! Gold Glory.

Abstract Yellow Roses Grad Card

Another graduation card for personal use. Inspirations were “abstract” and college colors.

Coincidentally, the school colors of my high school AND my college were Black & Gold. I spent so much time in black & gold in high school, I never thought I would ever wear it again. I looked down as I was taking the above photo, and  I was wearing a matching shirt.  😉

Supplies:  Stamps – Essentials by Ellen, Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, inks – Lawn Fawn Sunflower, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Spellbinders, embossing powder – Stampin’ Up! Crystal Clear.

Let Your Dreams Take Flight Butterfly Card

When I got the paisley stamp out for yesterday’s card, I also grabbed the large swallowtail stamp.

The lime paper is sparkly metallic – which I could not capture with the camera.  (BOO!)

Silver and Black Graduation Card

I am still working on card inventory for HorseSpirit Arts Gallery .

Fall is not the typical time you see graduation cards in stores, is it?

BUT…2/3 of my offspring graduated in the month of December (1/3 in May).

And, gosh, there are so many ongoing certificate programs, technical programs, medical treatment programs, et cetera, you many need a graduation card any month of the year!

Supplies:  Stamp – Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Stardream Metallics Silver, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, die – Spellbinders, embossing folder – Provo Craft, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.

Offspring2 graduated from college at the end of May, with a BA in Visual Arts, Photography concentration. #proudmama

Offspring2 and I exchange dog videos and memes daily – how could I pass up the opportunity with the card?

Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Soft Sky, Taylored Expressions Build A Scene, inks – Copic E33, R29, Y18, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Lawn Fawn (stitched hillsides), Spellbinders (oval), Taylored Expressions (tassle), embossing powder – Ranger clear.
