A Little Birdie Told Me Card

I love the art of this stamp (I have several by this designer), but I struggle with how to use it. BUT I LOVE IT.

For this card, I mounted the stamp on my MISTI, and stamped the individual distress inks to make an ombre image. When it was dry, I overstamped in VersaMark and added regular (not detail fine) embossing powder to give the image a higher, glossy loft.

Supplies:  Stamps – Waffle Flower, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Bay, inks – Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Inks Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, VersaFine Onyx Black, VersaMark, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail Clear, Stampin’ Up! Crystal Clear, organdy ribbon – Offray.

Smartypants Note Card

I cannot see this blue jean stamp and not think of middle school – and the students trying out different fashion trends.

Supplies:  Stamp – Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Pacific Point, Real Red, inks – Gina K. Designs Blue Raspberry, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Spellbinders, embossing folder – Provo Craft, embossing powder – Stampendous Detail clear.
