So…while on vacation, I found a basket full of clearance cards. I bought one, it was $1. I had to put my own spin on it.
I dry embossed the royal cardstock, then fussy cut the wave edge. I pulled out a crochet hook and did a simple chain stitch for the anchor chain using metallic thread.
Here is the original card, from the company kissmekwik in the UK:
A link to their website, if you are interested: kissmekwik .
And, from The Urban Dictionary, I chose the 2 variations that most match my interpretation of the word “wanker”:
UK/Aus/NZ slang for:
2. Someone with a faintly sociopathic lack of regard for other people; see also arsehole.
3. Someone useless, inefficient or time-wasting, especially in a place or work and/or position of responsibility.
Supplies: Stamp – Essentials by Ellen, paper – Gmund Royal, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Brushed Gold, Brushed Silver, Real Red, Soft Sky, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Memory Box (clouds), My Favorite Things (anchor), Provo Craft (letter), Spellbinders (banner), embossing folder – Darice, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, thread – Coats & Clark metallic silver.

Thank you for the keeping me informed on the word, ‘wanker’. I shall make them the only official definition for the slang, once I become the next British monarch. In fact, that will be my first decree.

I hope you were not offended – I edited the post mid day, after Offspring3 alerted me that, *perhaps*, my original that included all 5 definitions was too much! I truly think of a “wanker” as an “arsehole”.

ha,ha,ha. I am not. I did deduced something along those lines from the previous comments. If you said it, Kathy, it must be right.
