Paper and Ink Imaginings

Window Sympathy Card

I have made this card before. The watercolors through the window remind me of a scene from Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix (which would correspond to chapter 35, Beyond the Veil).

Supplies: Stamp – Papertrey Ink, paper – Canson Watercolor, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, die – Poppystamps, watercolors – Kuretake Gansai Tambi, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

  1. The card is lovely. I’ve always been curious. Do you have an idetic memory?

    • Thank you, Terry! I don’t know if I have an eidetic memory…I do remember lots of details (and they can be multi sensory details).

      • You have an amazing memory. I wish I could remember things like you do.

      • You haven’t seen me stand in my laundry room (which contains laundry machines, extra fridge, overflow pantry & rubber stamps!) and say, “why did I come down here?” I had to reacquaint myself with “eidetic memory” when you left the comment – a definite maybe. People just told me I was detail oriented. My brother has asked recently, “where do you store all that information?”

  2. I totally get the laundry room comment. 😃😃
