I have not participated in many My Favorite Things challenges. This week, the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge (MFTWSC333) caught my eye.
Here is the sketch:
I decided to try making a single layer scene, using the stripes to be different scenes. When it was time to color the sky, I decided to do an ombre effect (dark on top, light on bottom). To clean up the edges of my coloring and to highlight the stripes, I added two different widths of X-Press It High Tack Double Sided Tape. I covered the tape with metallic embossing powder and zapped it with my heat gun.
To fit the images into the stripes, the card is an A6 size – 4.625 x 6.25 inches.
Supplies: Stamps – My Favorite Things, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Pacific Point, inks – Copic B00, B02, B0000, E15, E23, G46, YG03, YG06, YG17, YR04, YR09, YR68, Y06, VersaFine Onyx Black, embossing powders – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, Ranger Liquid Platinum.

Super cute card. The Dino reminds me of Toy Story. This card makes me wish I knew a few little people, alas I don’t.

Thanks so much, Miss Hammie! I agree, this T-Rex does remind me of Rex from Toy Story.
