I embossed Core’dinations cardstock in an embossing folder, then sanded the surface to reveal the inner color.
Supplies: Stamps – Papertrey Ink, Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Blush Blossom (retired), Core’dinations Real Red, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Stampin’ Up! (smaller banner), Taylored Expressions (larger banner), embossing folder – Darice, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, organdy ribbon – Offray.

that is a really good effect! I made the photo really big for a good look and your sanding is so neat. Yummy colour too!

I’m glad it stood up to your closer look, Gillian! I did nothing special, sanded it over a trash can with a small sanding block. I find that if I put it down on the table, I push too hard, and mess up the embossing.
