Paper and Ink Imaginings

just playing with paper and ink

Floral Photo Note Card

I have to admit, I am running behind this week.

The kitchen renovation is almost done (waiting for countertop to be installed, then on to backsplash), we have no workers in the house this week. (Note to self: scrub floor while they are out!)

I have a bunch of medical appointments over the next 10 days (kidney stone made me schedule every “annual exam” that I had been avoiding!).

So, I am flying by the seat of my pants, card wise. I pulled out my floral scrap folder, and found 3 flowers and a piece of foliage. The sentiment and frame were in other scrap folders. I mounted the 3 flowers at different levels (back coral is flat, yellow is on glue dots, front coral is attached to back of frame, frame is mounted with foam adhesive), so it has a very nice shadowbox effect in person.

Have a good Wednesday!

Supplies: Stamps – Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – My Favorite Things (pierced rectangle), Stampin’ Up! (flowers, foliage), Taylored Expressions (frame), embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder Clear.

  1. It never shows that you are using ‘Seat of my Pants’ airlines! I Iike the unruly bit of foliage escaping the constraints of the frame. A fun touch!

    • Oh, you are too kind, Gillian! I feel like a fraud at least 50% of the time! 😉 I thought the unruly foliage (reminds me of my unruly hair!) was a good addition.
