This photo is before the new floor got installed. My house now looks like a dust bomb exploded with a pretty, new kitchen floor in the middle. (Sigh….yes, I did request they take up the 2 layers of flooring that already existed – my fault!)
And I am uncomfortable with a kidney stone stuck somewhere (since Saturday). Mojo has not come out to play and distract me. In Mojo’s defense, I was too busy over the weekend packing the kitchen stuff to be put into the basement. And, I did leave the house to go the ER in the middle of that process.
I’m hoping to be back with something to share on Monday.
Have a great weekend!

Ouch – both are painful, but the Kidney stone wins. Feel better soon.

Youch! I hear they can be very painful. Kidney stones, I mean. And any work going on in the house just seems so disruptive. Hope you, and Mojo, feel better soon!

Thanks so much, Gillian! The pain was bad enough for me to ask to be driven to the ER.

I bet. I know a few people who have had them. Take care of yourself!

Wow, a whole new kitchen. I’m jealous. I’ve never had a kidney stone my best thoughts go out to you.

A whole new kitchen is kind of unbelievable, Terry. I officially survived the demo stage. I’m thinking the reconstruction will be fun to watch. Fingers are crossed that all of my “design” decisions work together! (I did this alone – no professional advice) Thanks for the good thoughts on my health!

Oh, so sorry to hear about your kidney stones! Hope you’re feeling better! Renovations are tough, especially when you need to replace the flooring. Hope it goes well!

Thanks, Regina! I am having more good days than bad…happy about that. After the flooring mess came the “cut holes in the drywall” mess (new lighting). Now I have white dust instead of brown dust. π
