I love the punny sentiment, “Hope you are feline better” that came in the Simon Says Stamp Playful Kittens stamp set.
I cut a circle mask, blended ink through a stencil over the mask, then removed the stencil and blended a little more ink. The cat was stamped, embossed, colored and then die cut from a separate piece of Neenah Solar White card stock.
Supplies: Stamps – Simon Says Stamp, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, inks – Copics C1, R0000, R81, Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Ink Tumbled Glass, VersaFine Smokey Gray, dies – Simon Says Stamp (cat), Spellbinders (circles), stencil – Heidi Swapp, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

Yet another great background! You got a clever dimensional look there. So cat, check. Spots, check. Puns, check. So many favourite things!

Thank you so much, Isntshecrafty! I was a “color to the edge of the paper” background girl until I saw someone else only stencil part of the paper – lightbulb moment for me. Give it a try!
