Hey, good morning!

My friend, Robin Holliday, is reopening HorseSpirit Arts gallery on Main Street in Historic Ellicott City today, October 28, 2016.

It has been 3 months since the flash flood tore through Ellicott City on July 30, 2016.  (You can see my post about the flood HERE .) The amount of work that has gone into getting the gallery back into working order is incredible. It is as beautiful as the day it opened last fall.

There are special events going on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please visit HorseSpirit Arts Gallery for the schedule of events for the weekend.

If you are local, please think about taking a walk through downtown and stopping in! The artwork of 40 local artists is featured. Some of my greeting cards are on display next to the front door.

Have a great weekend!

  1. I hope they do well. And that you sell lots of cards too!

    • Thanks, Gillian! I am thinking the Gallery will be fine the first weekend – lots of customers. BUT, none of the other businesses around her are open yet, it is a bit of a walk between the open businesses and the gallery (fine by me, but not everyone likes to walk like me!).

      • I know what you mean. My sister and her partner had a gallery/studio for his work a couple of years ago and it was just that little bit off the main shopping area. On rainy days footfall really suffered!

  2. Great news, I’ll try to make it down this week. Was wondering where your cards might be available. Now I know.

    • Yes, some are available at HorseSpirit Arts Gallery. I always have some at home, too.

Main Street is slowly coming back to life. It was a beautiful day to walk up and down Main Street, up to the courthouse.

  3. That is great news. I am happy for your friend Robin and you and for all the artists.
