Paper and Ink Imaginings

just playing with paper and ink

Carpool Thanks Card

I made this lickety-split Monday morning before Offspring2 caught a ride to class with a friend. We want the driver to know how much we appreciate the weekly transportation (gas money enclosed).

I left the car white because friend’s car is white. I was going to write friend’s name on the license plate, but decided against it.

And, in retrospect, I should have place the “thanks” parallel to “the ride”. Offspring2’s friend really liked the card.

Supplies: Stamps – Papertrey Ink, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, inks – Copic B0000, C5, YR04, Papertrey Ink Fresh Snow, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Lawn Fawn (stitched rectangle), Provo Craft (4), Spellbinders (rectangle tag), DYMO Label Maker, embossing powders – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, white.

  1. I like the limited colour palette – very fresh and contemporary.

  2. I love this minimalistic design and contrasting colors!
