Sympathy cards are so difficult to make when one is needed. I try to keep a few on hand.
Supplies: Stamps – Papertrey Ink, Stampin’ Up!, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Brushed Gold, inks – Copic G46, R02, R24, R29, R89, Y25, VersaFine Onyx Black, dies – Lawn Fawn, embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear, Stampendous Gold Detail.

I agree totally. I simply cannot make them at the time they are needed so should definitely have a couple to hand, but I don’t. This is a lovely example: seasonal because of the poppies, and the bright red is eye-catching but completely appropriate.

Thanks, Gillian. It is amazing how fast the mojo scatters when it hears, “I need a sympathy card FAST.”

It’s too much pressure to get it just right, isn’t it? Whereas if you have some already made that feeling of obligation is taken away.
