Sorry to bounce from Halloween (yesterday’s post) to Christmas, but…that’s the way the card projects go in the fall!
After playing with paint chips cut on the diagonal, I decided to take the plunge on the Taylored Expressions Diagonal Stripes Cutting Plate (my first cutting plate EVER). SO, SO WORTH THE PLUNGE! I cut one out of Pop-Tone Sour Apple, then used scraps of red and green to cut other specific stripes.
Supplies: Stamp – Essentials by Ellen, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Pop-Tone Sour Apple, Stampin’ Up! Garden Green, Real Red, ink – VersaMark, dies – Spellbinders (circles), Taylored Expressions (diagonal stripes cutting plate), enamel dots – Stampin’ Up!, embossing powder – Stampin’ Up! Gold Glory, gold cord – PaperMart.

Christmas has come early! Oh how I love this die. Diagonal stripes are a favourite of mine. Your card shows it off beautifully! I am seeing candy canes, peppermint, and CLASSY!

Thank you! I had to splurge on this, because I knew I would use it again and again.

Then we could have diagonal challenges between us any time we wanted! 😉

Oh, that just got scary! But Ok, if I get it I’ll let you know! Just be gentle with me….

Scary? Oh, no, not at all what I meant! More like, “let’s do another pink/black/white diagonal this week!”
