He is so cute. He looks pretty ‘now’ too I think, even if as you say, he is a more mature snail.

Ha ha, a mature snail! I am always worried that I am breaking some card blogging rule if I use what I have…”really? you are using a stamp set that is HOW old?”

I look at it the opposite way. I may not have the exact stamps that someone has used, but I might have something similar in my stash that I have barely used at all and now I am inspired to do something with it. Or just o look at my old stuff again with a fresh eye. I think it is a good thing!

Oh, I definitely like your point of view!! So many of the blogs I read are “design team” blogs, and they just wear me out with new release items that I can’t have. Sure, I love to see new products, but it feels so frenzied some months. “Why am I doing this, I cannot possibly keep up?” Then, a few days later, I remember a pretty card is a pretty card, and if the stamp still stamps clear, who cares how long I have had it!

Absolutely! We can’t all buy everything. I follow a few DT blogs but often I skip on through them in the reader and get to the real people to see what they are doing instead.

Great strategy!

AB-SO-LUTE-LY … FAN-TAS- TIC!
Aww I love this little chap. He’s fun. Bright. A tiny bit gormless looking but in an attractive sort of ‘comely’ way, which makes me want to tickles him under his chin.
And … He doesn’t seem bothered that he’s so old that he’s developed a Urinary Incontinence problem. [giggling like schoolgirl now]
Aw Kathy, he’s totally fabulous. I can think of a dozen people I’d send this to, and they’d all love him. (My youngest daughter would go ape over him!)
Your colouring is spot on too.
The ‘Snail Mail’ – is that a stamp – or is it one of those lovely machine printed tapes —>is that what the supplies list says: DYMO Label Maker?
GREAT card Kathy. ~ sending love from my corner to yours ~ Cobs. x

Aw, thanks so much, Cobs! The sentiment was done with the DYMO label maker (old school hand squeeze model).

It’s perfect with Mr. Snail. It works SO well.
Well done Kathy. I think this is my most favourite of all your makes. If this were for sale I’d absolutely buy it. You should make them and put them for sale on Etsy or Ebay or … something like that.

Oh, Cobs, thank you for your vote of confidence! I took my card basket to the teachers at our local middle school (grades 6 – 8, kids are 11 – 14 years old) last week, and it sold.
