September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. The symptoms are very unspecific, so it is difficult to detect the cancer in its early stages.
For more information, please visit the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition website.
For my background, I used 3 stamps from Altenew’s Hennah Elements, and masks made out of post it notes. I am in love with how it turned out!
(these are the post it note masks I used)
I applied foil to a scrap of Heidi Swapp Minc paper using a laminator, and then die cut the ribbon out of the foiled paper.
Supplies: Stamps – Altenew, Papertrey Ink, paper – Heidi Swapp Minc Sheet, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Bay, inks – Stampin’ Up! Bermuda Bay, VersaFine Smoky Gray, dies – Provo Craft (ribbon), Stampin’ Up! (banner), foil – Heidi Swapp Minc Foil, embossing powder – Ranger Silver Pearl.

What are the pink flowers? Really pretty

Terry, the pink flowers are post it notes that I used as masks on the individual flowers I was stamping. You stamp a flower, cover it with a post it “mask”, and stamp another flower overlapping the original. The image that is covered by the mask will look like it is in front of the other flower.

Totally cool. I love that you share your process.

I probably should take a photo with several of the masks on during the stamping process next time.

That has absolute ‘wow factor’! Top notch super. I am a bit in awe of the planning that must have gone into this. Love the colour too.

Thanks, Gillian! Not much planning at all – stamping/cutting the masks to use, and stamping the first flower in the center. The rest just flowed.

For you, maybe!

No, really…pick your favorite floral set, pick 3 stamps, make a few masks and go…I swear, it just flowed.

Ok. I’ll put it on my project list. We’ll see!
