I made this for Robin, the owner of HorseSpirit Arts Gallery. She is front and center in my thoughts since the flash flood of Historic Ellicott City on July 30th (I posted about the flooding HERE ).
She was in the building Sunday and Monday to remove art, with artists and friends helping. It sounds like the air was toxic. Hoping everyone involved recovers quickly!
(I volunteered for the removal team, but, alas, my lack of a smartphone (no ability to get mass notification to mobilize quickly) knocked me off the list. Then, I realized that it was a good thing I got knocked off the list – my asthma and allergies – mold is such a big trigger for me.)
There is a gofundme page for Robin and HorseSpiritArts:
Or to help Historic Ellicott City in general, you can donate through the EC Partnership .
