I was looking at the pad of Crate Paper that came in the Simon Says Stamp February kit…and thinking…”I need to use all of these prints together!” And, amazingly enough, the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is titled Have a Heart.
I pondered that for a while, then remembered the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge #146, Angled Backgrounds . Yeah, yeah…this is coming together.
What if I use the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillsides dies to make curved stitching on the edge? (Did I see this on a blog this past week? Maybe on a tag? I went back and looked, but could not find it.)
I even used the “unstitched” sides of the curves to make another card.
Here are the two cards I created for that challenge back in early January 2014:
Supplies: Stamps – Stampin’ Up!, paper – Crate Paper, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Pool Party (Coordinations), Real Red (regular, Coordinations), various DSP scraps, ink – Papertrey Ink Fresh Snow, dies – Lawn Fawn, embossing powder – Ranger Silver Pearl.

Marvelous! Love your idea to use all the papers form the kit and apply them with curved die. Such a great look. Enjoy your day!!
