I have been really busy with family things the past few weeks, and I didn’t know if I would have time to participate in this challenge (LOVE Essentials by Ellen challenges!!).
So, I carved out some time before my trip to the grocery store Sunday morning.
This month’s Essentials by Ellen Mix It Up Challenge is with My Favorite Things. I chose to use Splendid Sunflower from MFT, combined with the “oh happy day” sentiment from Essentials by Ellen Bold Blooms.
I was inspired by the project made by Kay Miller – so much texture. I searched my stash and came up with some Fabriano paper to use as my stamping base.
Here is a close up of the card – the Gold Glory embossing powder shows well, and you can see the faint vertical texture lines of the Fabriano paper.
Supplies: Stamps – Essentials by Ellen, My Favorite Things, paper – Fabriano, Neenah Classic Crest Natural White, Stampin’ Up! Crushed Curry, Vellum paper, inks – Stampin’ Up! Close to Cocoa (retired), Daffodil Delight, VersaMark, sequins – Pretty Pink Posh, embossing powder – Stampin’ Up! Gold Glory.
