Bold Blooms Birthday Duo – Runway Inspired Challenge ric#97

bold blooms birthday duo

I have two friends (in different states on the East Coast) who share a birthday. I have gotten into the habit of creating cards that are similar but not exact to send to them.

I was looking at the Tory Burch inspiration

for the latest Runway Inspired Challenge (ric#97), and I was inspired by the color (although I did not quite have the periwinkle ink to execute it exactly), and by the stone runway.

I “tiled” my backgrounds with flowers, leaves and dots.

Supplies: Stamps – Clearly Besotted, Essentials by Ellen, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, inks – Stampin’ Up! Cameo Coral (retired), Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, VersaFine Smokey Gray, embossing folder – Provo Craft, die – Lawn Fawn, embossing powder – Ranger Liquid Platinum.

  1. I love both versions of your card, and it’s great that you were also inspired by the stone runway! Thanks so much for joining us at the Runway Inspired Challenge! 🙂
