Butterflies and Sequins Birthday Card

butterfly and sequin birthday

I partially stenciled a piece of cardstock, added punched butterflies, sequins and an embossed sentiment. I love that it feels “light”. Minimal, but still pretty.

I was inspired by a card that Kay Miller made for the Taylored Expressions blog earlier in July. The post is “This’ll Make You Smile”.

The lightbulb moment of “you don’t have to stencil all the way to the edge”!

Supplies: Stamp – Clearly Besotted, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, ink – Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Ink Tumbled Glass, VersaMark, stencil – Heidi Swapp, die – Spellbinders, butterfly punch – Martha Stewart, sequins – Doodlebug Designs, embossing powder – Ranger Silver Pearl, organdy ribbon – JoAnn’s.

  1. I like your light bulb moment. Light is a perfect description.
