Bordered Birthday Card – PTI Make It Monday #217

pti make it monday 217 birthday

This week’s Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge (#217) is titled “Creating Your Own Custom Borders”.

For whatever reason, I looked through my paper stash, and decided to use scraps from the retired Stampin’ Up! Razzleberry Lemonade DSP collection.

I die cut flowers with the PTI Flower Fusion #7 die, and stamped them with the matching Flower Fusion outline stamp to use as the border.

The sentiment is from PTI Birthday Bash Sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies: Stamps – Papertrey Ink, paper – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, Stampin’ Up! Pink Passion (retired), Razzleberry Lemonade DSP (retired), Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron, ink – VersaFine Onyx Black, embossing folder – Provo Craft, dies – Lawn Fawn (stitched rectangle), Papertrey Ink (flower), embossing powder – Filigree Fine Art Powder clear.

  1. Yay for using up patterned paper! It looks great here. I like how the rest of the card is understated enough to let those patterns star.

  2. Beautiful card! Love the embossing 🙂
