Earlier this month, Stampin’ Up! ran a one day promotional sale on the May 2015 Paper Pumpkin kit. I have never purchased a monthly kit from any crafting company. I thought for $5, there was nothing to lose.
My kit arrived on Saturday (very quickly – only 3 days since I got the shipping notice). Cute. For $5, I was happy enough. The kit included 6 cards, 6 envelopes, 4 gift bags, tissue paper (for inside the gift bags), a clear stamp set (5 stamps), an ink cube, cord (for gift bags), 4 sheets of punch out pieces, foam dimensionals, and a clear stamp block. Oh, and illustrated instructions.
I am well aware that I am a cardstock snob…the cards that were included in this kit were too lightweight for my taste (between Stampin’ Up! DSP and Whisper White in weight), but they made perfect layers on my cards. The striped layers on both cards were cut from the kit cards, and both pieces of Island Indigo on the card on the left were cut from the kit cards.
Thanks for stopping by!
