Here is my effort for the latest Tag You’re It! Challenge (#15) .
The inspiration, by Donna Mikasa:
I was leaning towards another literal interpretation (different shape, watercolored…), but then changed gears. I did stamp my flowers in multiple colors, but I was inspired by the tag treatment on this card by Heather Campbell, posted on Ellen Hutson’s The Classroom blog.
Instead of using foam tape under my tag, I built up layers of cardstock – and I used the colors that matched the colors of the flowers.
Sequins for flower centers (and sparkle!), and it is done.
