Metallic Heart Valentine Card – Fusion Card Challenge {Heartful}

fusion heartful valentine

The latest Fusion Card Challenge {Heartful} caught my attention!

Here is the inspiration:

fusion 1 29 2015 HeartfulI love the dimension of the hearts, and the metallic finishes.

To start my card, I die cut a heart out of medium weight chipboard (to reduce the possibility of warping with all the heat embossing!), and embossed twice with silver, twice with UTEE clear (to give more dimension), and one last time with silver. Medium weight chipboard was the right choice – no warping!

The flags are all cut from shimmering metallic papers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies: Stamp – Simon Says Stamp, paper – California Paper Goods Iridescent Sky (bought from CPG years ago, I don’t know what brand), ESSE Pearlized Cocoa, Stampin’ Up! Brushed Copper (retired), Brushed Gold, Brushed Silver, Kaleidoscope DSP, Real Red, Smoky Slate, chipboard source unknown, ink – VersaFine Smoky Gray, VersaMark, dies – Spellbinders (heart), Stampin’ Up! (banner), embossing powders – Stampin’ Up! Sterling Silver, Suze Weinberg/Melt Art UTEE.
