This week’s Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge (#188) is stamping ombre backgrounds.
So, I dug through my PTI stamps, looking for anything linear enough to pull this off. I settled on Background Basics: Woodgrain, and I was not careful about stamp orientation when I executed my design. (I automatically flip stamps between pushes to vary the element.) The finished background looks like muscle strands. Or bacon. I know someone who would love a BACON card! 😉
I stamped “happy” and embossed. I replaced the die cut dot on the birthday “i” with an enamel dot, and mounted on glossy black cardstock (to match the gloss of “happy”).
Pretty basic, but interesting and gender neutral.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks for stopping by!
