Time for the Papertrey Ink August 2014 Blog Hop Challenge!

The inspiration for this month’s challenge was this lovely stationery from Kate Spade:

PTI august 2014 challenge inspiration

I layered white and turquoise, rather than trying to outline the white with ink (make a mess would I!). I chose turquoise because I had turquoise text weight paper that I could use to line the envelope. I embossed a few flowers on the envelope lining, and stamped a few in turquoise ink on the envelope flap. The sentiment and flowers on the white panel are silver embossed.

Flat panel notecards are just so elegant.

Can’t wait to see what other crafters create for the challenge!

  1. Terrific card & envelope!

  2. So pretty!!

  3. The problem with this type of card is that you have to fill it with your own witty words!

  4. The turquoise is lovely….the added stamping on the envy flap is great!
