  1. Did you piece the ‘fabric’ or was it printed paper. Really nice.

    • Terry, I used a punch to cut 1.25 inch squares out of patterned paper and stamped scraps from previous projects, and I pieced it together over adhesive.

    • oops, replied too quickly!

Once I had it pieced together and trimmed, I ran it through my die cut machine in an embossing folder (see the raised pattern).

  2. Love this patchwork card and a great way to use paper scraps, which we all have too many of!

    • Thanks, Kathy! It was a Make it Monday for Papertrey Ink theme a few weeks ago, I have “quilted” at least a half a dozen times since.

  3. This card is fantastic! I really love how skillfully you created the patchwork look. And it is perfect for Mothers Day! My mom is a quilter, so this card brought to mind many fond memories of her. I really like the patterns you chose to combine and the color palette is wonderfully refreshing. Really lovely work and I’m so glad you shared your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
