This week’s Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge (#152) is Layering Dye and Pigment Inks.
I stamped the filigreed greenery from Papertrey Ink’s With Sympathy in white pigment ink on the white cardstock, set it aside to dry overnight. The next morning, I created a floral collage using dye inks over the now dry white pigment ink. The white ink does show through the dye ink – you can see it on the left, in the leaves and in the orange flower. In person, it looks really incredible when you are opening the card, and you get just the right angle, you can see all of the white ink. There is also a touch of Wink of Stella on the candle flames.
