While I was working out one morning last week, I caught episode 7 (Along Royal Paths) of “Alps from Above” on TV. Just absolutely beautiful.
One of the segments was about the Alpine Garden on Mount Schachen. They showed blue poppies that grow there. I was intrigued, this Alpine Garden was at one of King Ludwig II’s homes, and it was one we did not visit when we lived in Germany.
Here is my take on “blue poppies” – I would love to see the real ones!
