A Year of Blogging and Blog Candy!

blogiversary blog candy 2014

Well, today marks the one year anniversary of the beginning of this blog. 366 posts in 365 days (I blew it back in April, posted first thing in the morning, then decided to play in a Papertrey Ink challenge that had a same day deadline…2 posts that day!).

I started the blog to have a place to display my paper crafting projects. I never intended to blog every single day – but that did happen. (and there are probably a few friends who are nodding their heads, saying, “yep, we knew you would be THAT woman!”)

THANK YOU for reading and following my craft journey. I do so appreciate that you have taken the time to look at my paper crafting projects (and the recipes)! Thank you for your likes, your comments, your clicks/views, or for mentioning in an unrelated e-mail “hey, I saw this.”

Blog Goals for 2014: I am going to aim to post 5 days a week (taking the weekends off…I should set up a poll to see if anyone believes I will be able to NOT post every day!).  My weekly goal is to participate in at least 3  challenges. I have found that challenges push me outside of my comfort zone, which is a good thing for my creativity.

To celebrate A YEAR OF BLOGGING…how about some blog candy? I have pulled 5 cards (photo at top of blog post) out of my card basket to be the prize.  Four of the cards were entered into online challenges, the fifth card is a Valentine card (next “card” holiday).

Leave me a comment by 7:00pm on Saturday, January 25th. I will select a random winner and announce the winner on Monday, January 27th.  (I will ship the prize to US addresses only.)

Thanks AGAIN for stopping by!

  1. I can’t believe it has been a year. I’m glad there are other “that” women out there. I have enjoyed your creativity, especially the runway challenges. I consider what you do art, not crafting. Here’s to another year.

  2. Thanks for a chance to win blog candy!

  3. Congratulations! May you have many more… From the good people at HoCoBlogs.
