CC456 Snowman Birthday Card

cc456 snowman birthday

This week’s color challenge on SplitcoastStampers was Pistachio Crumb Crisp. These are not colors I reach for often. Crumb Cake, YES, I use all the time (the same as Papertrey Ink Kraft). But Pistachio Pudding and Cantaloupe Crisp? Meh. I don’t NOT like the colors, but I struggle with them.

I decided to make a snowman scene birthday card (since I have already shown a snowman scene holiday card, thank you note…). I do think it worked well in non-traditional colors.

I colored the Pistachio Pudding paper with Pistachio Pudding marker before putting it into the chevron embossing folder. I painted Wink of Stella across the bottom of the card (below the snowman) to make the snowy landscape (click on picture to enlarge – you can see the traces of sparkly Wink of Stella when it is bigger).
