We have been getting Elle Magazine since January. I had no idea why. I finally contacted customer service, and it turns out the one year subscription was a bonus with a purchase I made from Shoebuy.com during November. Half price shoes AND a year of a magazine? WOOHOO!

There was a full-page ad of this dress by Cynthia Rowley (I have seen her as a guest judge on Project Runway). I was drawn to all of the colors.

This dress was available at Belk.

I painted an abstract swath of white craft paint on my coral card stock and let it dry overnight. Then I stamped over the white.

My basket is in need of Mother’s Day cards, so I added that sentiment.

Supplies: Stamps – Stampin’ Up! (flowers are retired), paper – Papertrey Ink White, Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, ink – Stampin’ Up! 1. Do you put sentiments inside right away or do you wait? Loved the colors on this one and the dress too. Too bad it wouldn’t look like that on me.

    • By sentiment, I was only referring to the words on the outside of the card. Most of the cards in my basket are blank inside (exception – sympathy cards). The dress is pretty, but polyester??
